Would like to start today’s post by thanking everyone that has called, sent a text or e-mailed showing concern for the personal attack made by Getalife66 on the DNJ against Penny Hunter-Davis and her family. The initial reaction by Penny was to ignore it, but so many have become so upset by it that it is deflecting from the purpose of this blog.
The final “straw” for this post came when a friend was talking to a teacher (Cedar Groove) who happened to see the attack. The teacher and her friends were mortified someone would stoop to such a low level to personally attack someone so personally, their child, home and spouse.
Is Penny Hunter-Davis Graceful Gertrude? Maybe . . . Or is Graceful Gertrude the voice of so many afraid to speak out due to retaliation by certain people (the type of retaliation that will be displayed below, as an example). How else would Graceful know so much information if she were not a compilation of many? Never the less, maybe people will become more comfortable sharing their stories after this and more “truths” can be told.
The identity of Graceful Gertrude or anyone else that blogs here is irrelevant. The information provided is fact and proof has been offered. People with opposing facts about the subject at hand are welcome to post those. However, that has not happened. Attacks personal in nature and full of emotion are the only response offered. The reason for this is there is NO DEFENSE for what has happened to Campus School or the behavior of those that are directly involved.
Let me assure you, Penny Hunter-Davis nor Graceful Gertrude care about your personal attacks or opinions . . . .knock yourself out. It only ”reveals” how small of a person you are. Penny nor Graceful care if you are laughing and making fun . . . . in the end a stand was taken for what was believed to be just and true and maybe a child will learn how to FIGHT a bully, not be one.
“The TRUTH always prevails” and “cream rises to the top” are things that come to mind.
As an adult, you should be tolerant of another’s point of view and able to accept there will be differing points of view throughout life and be able to debate those views in an adult like manner and not with a “temper tantrum”. Also, as an adult not attempt to FORCE people to choose friends by manipulation, it is really sad and pathetic.

I find it disgusting that getalife666 would attack anyone on such a personal level. I guess when you are unable to justify the things brought out on this forum, you deflect attention and attack families. What kind of person would attack someone’s husband, child, house size(really?), weight and home life?

I am reading the posts by “getalife66″ and am very concerned. Those personal attacks are terrible. I do not personally know Penny, but no one deserves such treatment!
I personally believe that GracefulGertrude represents the voices of many in a collaborative form, not just one person.
This forum has primarily been aimed at indicating concerning behaviors, decisions etc. of the current administrator of HPCS. MANY of us are concerned for events that have transpired against previous teachers, faculty and parents.
But to stoop as low as “Getalife66″ (allegedly aka Jill/Lea Ann) is terrible. These are not the acts of Christian women. It continues to indicate why there are those of us who are concerned about the people who cite the current administrator in such high esteem. These are the kind of people she surrounds herself with- people who will belittle someone because her house size, weight, husband, etc, etc. It is very alarming and will likely cause much more damage to their “cause” than anything we could ever say here.
Every HPCS parent should read those posts and ask themselves several questions… Is this the secretary that should be working at their childrens school? (Jill) Should this woman be the president of their parent teacher club? (Lea Ann) If these two women are representative of the people who support the current administrator- should this administrator really be in charge of your children? Are your children safe in those hands?
Thank God (literally) that my children are no longer there… unfortunatley, others are and I am very concerned for them.

It is no wonder the DNJ removed the enire blog due to the awful personal attacks made against PH-D and Dr. Pack. It can only be hoped that Mr. Gil read them and tried to find out if Jill was indeed one of the posters. If so, she should not be allowed to continue in her position as secretary.
At first I thought the administrator was the only concerning element at Campus School. I now believe that Jill and Lea Anne, if they are truly the authors of the outrageously offensive comments on the DNJ, are also very concerning. They could make a very dangerous trio.
my2sons, I don’t support anyone that writes angry, hurtful, malicious, hate field, gossip about anyone (and I can assure you I have received my fair share through my personal e-mail account). I do not support getalife66′s comments and don’t know who this person or people are who wrote it. I truly just want to distance myself from this fight and don’t want to argue or take sides with anyone — because in the end there will be no winners I fear.
I was arrogant and stupid in my earlier posts and I regret that now. As so many people have pointed out I don’t have children and am not a teacher…..therefore I have no right in discussing this topic and should leave it to the people who are actually involved with it. I apologize for anything that I said that a was filled with anger, ignorance, and just plain stupidity — I screw up just like everyone else but hopefully try to learn from my screw ups. But now, please just leave me out of this fight. I’m merely an alumni who loves the school and has made a few small contributions to support teachers and students beginning when Stan Baskin was principal. I never in my wildest dreams thought that the good things I did for Campus School and Friends of Campus School would come back to me in lies and maliciousness and anger. It troubles me and gets me depressed honestly. And therefore, I have nothing negative to say about anyone here. I want to try to focus on positive things and positive people and try each day to do better and be better. I do feel bad for the person who was attacked on the DNJ blog and I’m sorry that happened to you because no one deserves that written about them for so many to see.

It depresses me to read so many negative posts and I hated reading what getalife 66 wrote as much as anything that has been written here. I just want to live in peace and be left out of this battle. It’s just not a fight that anyone is going to win I fear and everyone in it is going to lose. For me, it is just not healthy for me to read the posts here or respond (and yet I continue to do so). I felt I should respond since my2sons directed his/her message directly to me.
I wish you all nothing but peace and happiness and I believe what will be will be…..what that is, I have no idea. As for me, I just don’t want to be consumed by this fight or issue or read anymore messages on either side of the fight. While I do not wish to encourage you to continue reading or blogging on this site as you have stated numerous times it causes you multiple issues, I am concerned about your above post where you make reference to your feelings of being “attacked” through your personal e-mail. You insinuate that it is related to this blog; however, your e-mail does not appear in any of the posts on this blog. Can you provide copies of the harassing e-mails you are referring too? If someone is indeed “harassing you” by private e-mail we would like to see proof and aid you in getting that stopped as the purpose of Graceful Gertrude is not to condon this type behavior.
You also state “I do not support getalife66′s comments and don’t know who this person or people are who wrote it.” You are friends of Lea Anne Bedsole and Jill Hollis correct?
Again, we are seeking the truth and facts. Please provide the harassing e-mails as a proof and we will be glad to help you in any way possible.
Otherwise, I expect you will be moving on to more positive and productive things in life as you mention above and we wish the best in your future endeavors.
As a person who has personally received ugly text messages from LAB (how appropriate her initials are!), this definitely seems like something she would say. She is a loud mouth, inappropriate, unprofessional bully.
